
Mark M. Lewis, M.D. was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised in Southern California. He received his Bachelor's degree with honors from Brigham Young University, His M.D. degree from the University of Southern California, and served his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He enjoyed one of the largest and most advanced medical and surgical Ophthalmology practices in Salt Lake City for almost 20 years before moving to St. George. He has been Chairman of Ophthalmology at both St. Mark's and Cottonwood Hospitals. He has served on the staff of numerous other medical facilities throughout the state, as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board to the State Driver's License Division, and on the Board of the Utah Society to Prevent Blindness.
